Funny
Enjoying my music and the nice weather on my way to the gym this morning I just glanced at the apartment block to the left of me to see something I found so funny.
Everyone hangs their laundry and other things outside on their balconies to dry, if you already didn't know that, and I saw a child's teddy bear hanging outside who had been freshly washed and right beside the little bear was 3 big squid things being hung out to dry in order to be enjoyed as a snack later.
HAhahhaa, I laughed and laughed.
Nothing like hanging your kids' teddy bear outside to dry and your fish thing right beside it.
I wish I had my camera.
It doens't sound as funny when I type it but just picture it in your mind.
Teddy bear, squid, teddy bear, squid

5 months
So that's roughly the amount of time I have left here in Korea until I head back to Canada.
I think that because I know that I will be leaving relatively soon, things that would normally REALLY get under my skin are now laughable.
Some crazy adjuma yelling "HELLO!" "HELLO!" at me the other day, people cutting me off or getting in my way, silly things at school, people talking with food in their mouths or slurping etc etc, now are all funny to me.
Yes, still annoying but I feel now that I have to just absorb every moment that I have here as I may never be back and I want to remember all of the smells, the faces everything.
Maybe I will be back and I am just taking a break. Who knows.
Now that I have NO plan in my life, I can do anything I want to. So I guess the plan is to do whatever I want!
I'm hoping that being at home for a little while will put just a little more detail into that plan because as of now it is wiiiiiiiiiide open.
Which I guess isn't really a bad thing.
Anyway, things are good.
The weather is great which makes me happy Sloane again.
Winter is the end of happy Sloane and I am SO happy to have her back again. I am feeling normal, like me again.
Winter Sloane is evil. No. WINTER is the evil one!
School is going well, running is going well, la la la.
Oh Happy Day

Just a few
So I've lost a few pounds.
Only 5 or 6 but apparently this had made, what seems, all the difference in the world as to how my clothes fit.
Normally, I would be exstatic that I had lost a few but when you live in country where you only have a set amount of clothes and can't just run out to the mall and pick up a pair of kacki's, it really sucks.
REALLY!
I have already gotten rid of a few pairs of pants because they were REALLY big and now I'm down to about 2 pairs of pants that are acceptable to wear to work.
They used to fit great, look great and be comfortable and now they just don't hang the same way and I'm like the kid who is always pulling up his pants.
I know this is a trivial problem when people are starving in the world but this is what's going on in my world right now. haha
I NEED PANTS!
My only saving grace is that spring is on its way and I can break out the capri pants and skirts that will get me through to the end of the year.
Note to self: only lose weight if you can buy some new clothes to go with it!

Sawatdee Kha
There are scooters everywhere and dogs roam free and mostly lie on the side of the road.

You think you are going to hit them but they are just relaxing. It was a nice change to see dogs roaming free as opposed to being chained to a horrible life like they are in Korea.

Gecko's are also everywhere but I didn't mind because they are cute.

I got bit by some type of jelly thing in the water a few times. It hurt.
The food was absolutely amazing. I ate it everyday.
The air was clean.

The bugs are incredibly loud but really nice to listen to.
The beaches were great.

Massages were great.
I hurt my skin really bad. The worst ever I think. But my tan looks really good and that's all that matters really. ha ha
I wore SPF 50 for the first time in my life.
I went through 3 bottles of sun block and 2 bottles of after sun lotion.
Ladyboys are really pretty.
I want to go back.

Quick Update
* I am back at school until July.
* I will leave Korea when I am finished this contract.
* I don't know where I will go!
* Darren and I are no longer together.
* But it's ok.
* Thailand was AMAZING and I didn't want to leave and all I can think of is going back.
* I am anxiously waiting for the warm weather to arrive.
