Flow with the flow

I feel that traveling will always serve as a reminder to let go of your plans, agenda's and expectations as hard as it may be.  Most often, you will have no choice.
Tonight I wanted a foot massage.  I had envisioned it in my mind, me all comfy in those big comfy chairs enjoying the strong hands of a little Thai lady.  I even brought my music so I could play something relaxing if I wanted to.
But I arrived at the massage place I go to and all of my comfy chairs are full so I asked if we could do foot massage (see Sloane point to the massage mat on the floor) over there?
"Yes, yes, massage."
So my little Thai lady tells me to lay on my side as she went to wash her hands, which I thought was odd but whatever, and she started working on my neck and traps.
I did think for a moment that maybe she had created her own style of "foot" massage that began with the neck?
But, it was obvious that I was getting her style of a Thai massage.  Not a big deal I know, I'm still getting a massage for $5, it's just that little reminder, no matter how small or trivial the situation is, to remind us that we just need to flow with the flow and let it takes us wherever it is meant to take us.

No, I didn't get that foot massage I had my heart set on but what I did get, was the best Thai massage I've had in the entire 4 months I've been here.

So, thank you flow, I love where you took me tonight and for the reminder.
