For those of you living in Korea, you already know about this, but for everyone back home you have to take a look at this.

This is a very serious thing here in Korea and many, many people 100% believe that this is true. Doctors have written papers about it and almost everyone believes it.

When we first arrived last August it was still brutally hot. Some fellow waygook teachers were telling me how their co-teachers had told them to make sure you turn the fan off when you go to bed at night.

Why? they asked.

Ohh fan death the Korean teacher responded as if, HOW do you not know about this!?

What are you talking about said the waygook?

Fan death. If you leave the fan on in a closed room while you are sleeping you can die. I've seen it on tv.

WELL! If you've seen it on tv it MUST be true.
